“We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is in a fantastic location and is even more impressive in person, the pictures truly don't do it justice. It's spacious with plenty of room for a large group, and there are so many great spots to gather both inside and outside. The pool is beautiful, and the views of the water are unforgettable. It really feels like a five-star tropical getaway. Frederick and his team were outstanding communicators, responsive, helpful, and genuinely warm. They made everything seamless from start to finish. Hiring Chef Felix was one of the best decisions we made. The meals were exceptional and clearly prepared with care. He was incredibly accommodating, even thoughtfully preparing safe and delicious meals for a family member with Celiac. And Jose, our driver, was truly the best of the best — reliable, professional, and so kind. He handled airport transfers and took us to the 7 Waterfalls tour, making everything seamless. Would love to go back!”

“My family and I, three generations, spend a lovely week at this wonderful villa. The villa was well represented by their photos, only it was more stunning in person. The view of the ocean, the amazing pool, kept us outside all day. Every one of us was so relaxed and we hardly left the place and this is with a 21 and 25 year old, who I would have thought had gotten antsy the second day. Not so. We would walk the beach, watch the horse back riders walk along the trails, sit and watch the crashing waves. It was gorgeous, relaxing and insanely enjoyable. We felt so safe there. We were pampered by Yalissa and Joaquin! Not one of our little wants went unmet. We had Jesus, the amazing chef, prepare us dinner every night. We could not think of a restaurant in all the Dominican Republic whose food would have been better. The presentation was beautiful and photo worthy. Frederick's was incredibly helpful before our trip, making the arrangements for our driver, Jose. Many thanks!”

“This is my second stay here. I had to come back! and it was worth it again. My family and I had a wonderful time. The photos are so beautiful and still don't do it justice. It is even more breathtaking than what you see and very clean. Frederick and his staff are the most responsive and attentive hosts that I have experienced. Chef Felix and his colleague Nicolas were OUTSTANDING and worth every penny. I recommend you ask about him. There will definitely be a third visit as this is my absolute favorite and go-to place in Cabarete. It's beautiful, peaceful, private and safe. Do yourselves a favor... BOOK IT! :)”

“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in the Dominican Republic! Frederick, our host, was incredibly helpful—he assisted with planning, organizing transportation, arranging meals by Chef Felix, and recommending local restaurants. The house itself was immaculate and very well kept, and the housekeepers were friendly and went out of their way to help us with a few groceries. One of our favorite things was walking down the beach to Natura Restaurant—absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free getaway.”

“This house was incredible, exactly as described. First, the property. Very spacious bedrooms with on-suites for each. Multiple indoor living spaces, with well stocked kitchen. The house also comes with cleaning staff. Now, for the reason you pick the property, the outdoor space. 3 large outdoor living spaces, HUGE pool. You can hear the waves crash against the coastline all day long, makes it feel like you are on the beach from the comfort of your backyard. The beach is a short, beautiful 5 minute walk away and also allows access to two bars and a lovely outdoor restaurant and spa. Last note about the property, you always felt safe which was important with 2 young kids. Lastly, I second everyone's review that a chef is a MUST. We did lunch and dinner every day, worth every single penny. Beautiful presentation, excellent food, and you didn't have to lift a finger. Felt like a luxury vacation for a reasonable cost. Don't overthink it, you found it the perfect house!”

“This house was perfect for our family trip. We had 11 family members in the house, ages 2 to 70 and everyone absolutely loved it. Frederick and his team were very flexible and easy to work with and his recommendations for chef (Pascuale) and driver (Jose) were excellent. Having Pascuale make amazing food each day was one of the highlights - not having to worry about cooking/cleaning up was a huge relief for everyone. I would definitely recommend hiring him! The house was beautiful, clean, and well-kept and the views are incredible. The Perla Marina neighborhood is quiet and the beach is pristine. I can't wait to go back!”

“We had an amazing time at DR. The house is beautiful, spacious & clean. The host is always available and answer any question right away. The manager Joaquin and Yurisa are really attentive and hospitable. We hired a Chef ( Pascual), he is very talented at cooking, and made us delicious meals. The pool area and back porch are just perfect. The turquoise beach was secluded, and with some waves but we love it. Our teenage boys had a blast. We can't wait to come back to the Amazing Colonial Beach House Mansion!!”
