Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all reservations and stays at Villa Valesta ("the Villa"), located at 4, Calle Sol De Plata Garden, Perla Marina, Cabarete, Dominican Republic. By completing a reservation, the lead guest ("Guest") agrees to these Terms on behalf of all members of their party.

Villa Valesta is operated by its owners ("Host"). All inquiries may be directed to world@villavalesta.com.

2. Reservations & Payment

A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit as outlined in the booking agreement. The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days before the check-in date. For reservations made within 60 days of arrival, full payment is due at the time of booking.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. All rates are quoted in US dollars and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed in writing.

3. Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation policy applies unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Cancellation more than 45 days before check-in: deposit refunded minus a 20% administrative fee.
• Cancellation within 45 days of check-in: 100% non-refundable.

We strongly recommend that Guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation and interruption coverage.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may be subject to an additional fee. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

5. Occupancy & House Rules

The Villa has a maximum occupancy as specified at the time of booking. Exceeding this limit without prior written consent is not permitted and may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Guests agree to:

• Treat the Villa, its furnishings, and its grounds with care and respect.
• Not hold events, parties, or gatherings beyond the confirmed guest count without prior approval.
• Respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
• Comply with all applicable Dominican Republic laws and regulations.
• Follow all safety instructions provided by the Host or Villa staff.

6. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required prior to check-in. The amount will be specified in the booking agreement. The deposit will be returned within 14 days of check-out, less any deductions for damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning beyond normal wear and tear.

7. Concierge & Additional Services

Villa Valesta offers concierge services including private chef, driver, and activity coordination. These services may be included in the rental rate or priced separately, as specified at booking. The Host will make all reasonable efforts to fulfill requests, but cannot guarantee the availability of third-party providers.

8. Liability

Guests use the Villa, its pool, sports facilities, and all amenities entirely at their own risk. The Host shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

The Host is not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or disruptions to local infrastructure.

9. Privacy

Guest information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of managing the reservation and providing services. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except as necessary to fulfil the booking. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from a reservation or stay at Villa Valesta shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dominican Republic.

11. Amendments

The Host reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking confirmation applies to that reservation. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
